Which Character Will Die in a Sequel?

I quite liked Cho as Sulu. If I translate Who will die in the next film in to Who do I want to see die because they get on my nerves, it would have to be Pegg's awfully irritating and comedic Scotty.

I think Uhura and Sulu should die at the very beginning of the sequel.

I don't want to see any of the main characters killed off. Even if it's quite trendy nowadays to kill main characters

Neither do I, but we have a "Lost" creator and producer (Abrams and Lindelof) involved, so it's a possibility.

At least it's not Joss Whedon, so we've got half a chance.

I'm in the "I really hope none of them die" camp. Alternatively, I'm also in the "anyone but McCoy" camp.

McCoy or Sulu. Chekov is the more palatable candidate, but that's why it wouldn't be him, it'd be like killing the family rabbit. Who cares?

Other. I think Pike will be killed. Considering Pike's role in getting Kirk into Starfleet and eventually helping bring him to command, he's basically become Kirk's mentor and would be an emotional blow to Kirk if he were to die.

The question should be which actor will bitch about being too typecast and fear not doing anything else after and/or actually go on doing something else first. That's who will be kiiled off. Otherwise, a red shirt, I guess.

Hopefully Scotty, at least that way i wont have to suffer through repeat performances of Simon Pegg's so called acting. Every other character was well cast and enjoyable, so he really is the only choice for me.

Yeah why would they go through all this to make a successful movie with these characters to just kill them off. I think they understand that it would be an all out riot to kill off a main character. All I can say is they better not....because then I would of preferred to just let Trek lie then to do that.

My thinking alsoI don't think it'll happen in the next film, but if there's a third it could happen then. As well as being dramatic it will also alow the bond between Kirk and Spock to grow.
