which Captain is most like Kirk?

Back on topic, I'd agree that Janeway seems most like Kirk in her style- though I haven't seen SNW Pike yet.

I think Pike seems the most Kirk-ish so far, Archer the runner up. Since Janeway varied from episode to episode, she had Kirk moments too. In "Thirty Days", I could just as easily seen her on the Delta Flyer when Tom arrived to do his demolition mission, asking him what took him so long.

Since Kirk's professional evolution arose from studying the successful exploits of previous Captains like Garth and Pike, then by default, Pike is most like Kirk because Kirk is most like Pike. I rest my case.
