I’d definitely want to man the science station. Spock got to analyze all the interesting stuff. Plus, I want to know what he was looking at in that scope thingy.

My heroes growing up were Mr. Spock and Luke Skywalker so I have to say Science station. I might be better suited at one of the subsystems stations, or something like damage control.

A better fit for me would be the TNG era Ops station. Watching over several systems to make sure they integrate properly and don't run into each other.

*I realise the whole bridge is blinky lights, but I've always liked those.

I don't really have a TOS-era favourite, but I guess I'd go for either Spock's console (with the awesome hooded display thingy!) or That Big Damn Chair (tm). I'd probably make the same choices on the TUC bridge too.

If it were TWOK I'd pick either Weapons or (again) Science... How awesome was that weapons console? Especially with the little joystick torpedo firing mechanism

Let me put in a kind word for the seldom-seen Navigation console. Freaking Voyager and TNG needed whole stellar cartography rooms! But TOS did it with a simple bridge station. (Maybe that's where Chekov was the whole time Khan was on board?)

Well there is more to it. There is Chekov's navigation station at the helm and also a Navigation Subsystems bridge station as well.

So not just one simple console for navigation. Same for Weapons, too.
