With all respect to baseball and the US, I think I can quite confidently predict that the game will never be popular enough in the UK for us to have a Major League team. Our sport market is too crowded for that to happen.

We never hear about the World Cricket Championships. I assume there is one.

Out of curiosity, would there be an issue calling something "Kings" when there is a sitting queen?

I think the NFL will be in London before MLB given the NFLs investment in the Olympic stadium and the VERY popular exhibition games

All we have to do is convince the British to stop calling soccer football.

I doubt it. Just a reference to the monarchy in Britain, and calling an all male team the Queens would be awkward.

Though Britain's national anthem is God Save the Queen. When a king assumes the throne, it'll change appropriately.

They really should expand into Canada again by going back to Montreal, or maybe to Vancouver.

Mexico already has a Triple-A minor league, so it's a possibility too.
