Which are your favorite Holiday usernames?

I don't believe in changed user names ;)

There are no interesting variations of "Danoz" :)

Do you have any clue what a strain this is on the brain of a newcomer? example: I was reading a post of Gloria 25th, and I thought it was a new reply, and then I thought: wait a sec, I have read this before...

Miss L. Toe is a nice one though. :)
The same happened to me: I joined just before Hallowe'en. But I managed to sort them out eventually. (Although I called someone the wrong name once afterwards.)
I didn't change my name though: who would know me afterwards? I was too new. But good job with yours, Santa Claws, I like it a lot.

[edit] Oops! It wasn't your idea. I see you didn't go for the "The Nightmare Before Christmas" reference "Sandy Claws". I like the movie, but I'm not crazy about that name either.[/edit]

I also share your preference for "Miss L. Toe".
ITElf makes me chuckle a bit, too. ;)

Hey, you were mentioning me! ;) I hadn't gotten beyond "strain on the brain of a newcomer" yet. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship...

Way back in the dawn of time when I was a n00b we didn't do different usernames for the TBBS civilians, though the mods sometimes changed theirs. ;)
Ha ha! Sneaky.

Da noze is red!

Well, I'm quite partial to mine, as that "other" holiday celebrated around this time of year doesn't get enough exposure.

^Good pun, OdoHanukkahnobi. It got a giggle from me. (Few do.) :techman:

Well yeah! I also liked "unwrapped" it sounds greedy. :)
And kinky.

Well I can't think of a way to make a suckerfish holiday-festive... so let me explain. :)

When I was about six years old I asked Uncle Fred why some of my gifts from Santa were marked MADE IN CHINA and he explained about how the elves all joined a labor union in 1969 and Santa was forced to outsource things to China to keep costs down, that the North Pole was more of a distribution point and not the actual manufacturing center anymore.

Only later in life did I fully understand what he was telling me. :)
Excellent!

I don't seem to be able to come up with one for mine that I like.
Spiffy Santa?
Spaceman Sleigh?

isn't the new av adorable?
I like it.

Now all I need is for someone who is clever at making avatars to hang some mistletoe from my tail so it dangles just above my most prominent feature thus informing the whole Trekbbs "you may kiss my ......." (the tail will have to stop waving for this).
That would be funny.

Communication is many things, on a board of this sort it's also about having fun! -The social interaction being more important to some and the sharing of canonical data on specific Star Trek episodes more important to others.
Truer words were never spoken.

Personally I'd rather you all forget who I am that way I can burn more bridges.

Holdfast wears Army boots!
Oh, you're in trouble.

To defend those whose holiday names have nothing to do with their real ones: some names just can't be worked with.

Regifter of Toys (Locutus of Bored)

Thanks. :) I was going to do Festivus of Bored again, but I did that last year, so I wanted to try something else.

The ones that stood out and made me a chuckle as I was going through that thread:

Quantum of Xmas (Agent Richard07)
OdoHanukkahnobi (OdoWanKenobi)
Happy Doc Holidays (Muab Dib - he has a Doc Holiday avatar)
Dukat the Halls (Elmo Dukat - Not because you picked mine, I swear)
Jinglebell Jarock (Alidar Jarok)

I don't really care for the ones that are totally unrelated to the original username.

That said, I don't seem to be able to come up with one for mine that I like.

Snowman Spiff? Ugh.
A Spaceman in a Pear Tree? Nah.
One Spaceman Spiffing? Does this highrise window open?

The Abominable Spaceman
Sleighman Swift
Snowman's Pissed (with an evil snowman avatar)
Spaceman Rockwell (show some Norman Rockwell Christmas avatars)
Oh Come Let Us Adore Spiff

 Thanks for everyone who likes my name ;) Of course, the prospect of using Dukat as a verb is a little frightening... :cardie:

Well, mine could, but I was really tired of being Kringle's Mom. :p

New favorite: 4th Hanson Bro- You'll Shoot Your Eye Out. Now I want to change mine to Ohhhhhh Fudge....:guffaw:

Like mine. There aren't really many ways to Christmas-up "Skywalker." I guess what I came up with is okay.

Since all you have to do is look at the poster's Location, it's really not that hard to figure out who people are. I haven't had any trouble, at least.

My holiday username has more to do with the mood I was in as I was driving the other night. It was the first major snow of the year, and so the snow plows and salt trucks had not been deployed yet. The roads were slippery as hell.

^ I recognize your avatar anyway.

Skywalker, I think Sleighrider is an excellent play on Skywalker. ;)

I like Miss L. Toe, Ducat the Halls and Kestmas Tree the most, but there are a lot of entertaining ones.

I'm glad some people like mine, though I can't take credit for it. Regifter of Toys (Locutus of Bored) was kind enough to come up with suggestions for me last year, and this was my favorite so I decided to keep it this year.
Some others I've seen around that made me laugh:

Guarth-O-Holy-Night (Guartho)
blabgiver5 (blablover5)
Santa Claws (Clawhammer)
OdoHanukkahnobi (OdoWanKenobi)
ITElf (ITL)
