Now all I need is for someone who is clever at making avatars to hang some mistletoe from my tail so it dangles just above my most prominent feature thus informing the whole Trekbbs "you may kiss my ......." (the tail will have to stop waving for this).
I also like usernames that have something to do with the original user name such as
Seven of Five Gold Rings (Seven of Five)
Wills Bauble (WillsBabe)
Kestmas Tree (Kestra)

I like everybody's so far. Dukat the Halls is excellent, and I really liked Union Elf even before I read the hilarious story behind it.
I haven't decided on one yet myself. The closest I've come to is Yuletide Philolog, but I don't like the way it rolls off the tongue. Am I just missing some obvious pun?

Bah! I hate all these username changes. BBS's are for communication and the near monthly way you all are changing your usernames makes it hard for many to keep track of who said what, and not all are "noobs". You change your username, you change your avatars, you may as well be some new random person as far as I am concerned. And I have been here for nearly eight years. If you think it is easy to follow as you change everything easily identifiable about you, you may want to check your egos. Most of you aren't that memorable.

-And then it all breaks down; Da'Grinch explicitly allows only the change if your actual nick is in your "Location:" or sig. -shouldn't be so hard to find out who's who!
Plus: communication is many things, on a board of this sort it's also about having fun! -The social interaction being more important to some and the sharing of canonical data on specific Star Trek episodes more important to others.
And, of course, being memorable isn't what it's about to most of us! -we're more about the fun of it; just think of us all being "secret santa's" for the duration
