I choose Guinness Extra Stout.
While I enjoy many others, were I forced to choose, a simple pint of Guinness (the extra stout, mind you) would be the drink of choice. That doesn't mean I don't sometimes go for a rich, russian imperial or a hoppy Great Lakes beer-- or a great glass of wine, a martini or whiskey... but nothing compares to the glorious balance and body of a Guinness Extra Stout.
- It must be an exact drink. You can't just say "red wine," or "cold beer" -- you'd have to say, "Ruffino Reserva Ducale Oro, vintage 2004" or "Samuel Adams: Boston Ale." If it's a mixed drink or martini, you have to be specific, "Bombay Sapphire Martini, very dry, blue-cheese olives." If it's a whiskey, scotch or brandy-- you have to specify how you drink it (neat, rocks, w/ coke).
- You can only choose one drink.
- You cannot reply with something snooty about alcohol, how you don't drink, or respond with "kool-aid" or "iced tea" (unless it's long island). This will result in immediate permban. Any and all attempts to derail this thread into your own personal teetotalling soapbox will be handled swiftly and without remorse (back me up, mods
).
- This drink would be served at your last meal. Choose wisely.
