Tuvix was fully capable of hiding his Katra in someone before he allowed himself to be executed. In fact using his own demise as a distraction/diversion while he took root in someone's psyche might actually explain why he so calmly dug his own damn grave.

Tuvix's Katra could have not only been in any one, but been in a lot of anyones.

:)

(You can pick/tick as many options as you want in the poll.)

Didn't he grab Paris before being taken away? I think that's when it happened.

I chose everyone in the senior staff except the EMH. because he's a hologram, and Harry, because he's Harry.

The argument for Tuvix taking over Tom is Before and After.

You take a look at the endgame, and work out who benefits and they jimmied life to create that conclusion for themselves...

Tom got Kes.

Tuvix wanted Kes, therefore Tuvix must have moved heaven abd earth to get her by becoming Tom.

So, how did he feel about winding up with B'Elanna in the "real" timeline?

Disappointed much?

Maybe that's why Kes killed B'Elanna in Fury?

And yes I remember Vis a Vis, where Tom bodyswitched with a dickhead alien.

Maybe Kes accidentally killed Tuvix by going into the past. The past Tuvok could sense echoing events when Kes came back and he was probably more terrified to find out he'll later merge with Neelix. Hell, I would be.

If I was Tuvix, I'd have placed Katra backups in everyone I could - literally - get my hands on. That is, if that is even possible? Do we know?

He was wandering around the ship unescorted for a month, and they still didn't put him under armed guard after they asked him if he felt like letting the Doctor murder him dead.

So yes, plenty of opportunities.

Tuvok and Neelix were like Nitro and glycerin, put together they were much more potent than taken separately.

I am angry that Suder is winning. Suder is a cop out. Everyone knows that Tuvix is creepy and awful so it's easy to pair him with Suder. Go for the gold people, pair him with Naomi!!

I chose Janeway, because she was erratic, as if someone "manipulated" her from inside.

And B'Elanna, because she "calmed" down a bit - Tuvok's half calm influence?

And Kes, because Neelix's half would what so.

And Chell, because hell, why not?!

Well I'm convinced so I went with all of the above.

But wait. What if elements of Talaxian physiology made the existence of katra impossible in the hybrid?
