Where to rent remastered DVDs?

I don't feel like shelling out ~$66 a season, so I'm looking to rent. I tried Netflix and Blockbuster and they both don't seem to have it.

the only place I can think of is xbox live or itunes. But downloading every episode would probably cost more than just buying them outright! There is a 3rd rental website like netflix called classicflix that a friend of mine uses. It costs more than netflix but it has some harder to find titles, you may want to check it out just in case.

However, season 1 says HD-DVD only. But the cover art says it's combo HD-DVD and DVD. I wonder if I need to get an HD DVD player or if I'll get lucky and the synopsis will be wrong and ship the combo instead.

The season one HD DVD discs were only released as combo discs, with HD DVD on one side and DVD on the other.

Some local public libraries in my area ordered a set of Remastered TOS for their DVD loan shelves. But they're still on order and haven't arrived or been processed into circulation just yet.

Thanks everyone. I ended up going with the ClassicFlix route. I'm a little disappointed with the remastered version of Balance of Terror. I thought there was a lot of opportunity to really spice up the space battle scenes. But it looks like they went all out on The Doomsday Machine. That episode's remastering was very enjoyable. I look forward to watching the rest!
