Where have you traveled???

Only North America for me:

In Canada:
- I've been basically all over Manitoba (mostly because I live here :p). Northwest Ontario too since it's right next door.
- Calgary
- Vancouver
- Toronto
- Ottawa, with a few hours across the river in Gatineau
- And I think I've been to Regina or Saskatoon once but it was a long time ago and I don't remember it at all.

In the states:
- Minnesota, just the Twin Cities area and the northern section of the state (Warroad, International Falls, Bemidji, etc)
- North Dakota, pretty much just down I29 (Grand Forks, Fargo)
- South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore
- Montana - the Flathead Valley area (Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls) on several business trips
- Florida - Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach area on a couple business trips last year. First time I was actually next to an ocean (I've been told Vancouver doesn't count).
- Nevada - Las Vegas when Star Trek The Experience was still around. ;)
- Alabama - Birmingham and Tuscaloosa on a business trip
- Georgia - Connecting flight in Atlanta once and then traveled through on the way to Athens for business trip
- Colorado - Connecting flights through Denver several times
- Utah - Connecting flight in Salt Lake City once
- Illionis - Connecting flights in Chicago a couple times and spent the night in an airport hotel once after my flight was cancelled

Not much of a traveller. I've been to five Canadian provinces (Manitoba, BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario), one American state (Montana, which geographically would seem to barely count as leaving Alberta but it really is quite different), England (London) and Wales.

I'd still like to visit Australia and NZ one day. Only continent haven't visited yet (missed opportunity). And see Northern Lights (or Southern) - missed that one too.
Everyone needs to come here, I will take you out to dinner with views :D
If I ever go to Australia I'd probably never leave. :ouch:

Now that I think about it, I do have a cousin who lives in the Melbourne area... :shifty:

Well then you need to facebook friend the cousin and devote one year to gradually sucking up more and more to them and then announce you are coming for a visit so you can score free accommodation.

My fear too. Or maybe it's NZ I'd never leave :). I will have to renew some old acquaintanceships though to blag some free accommodation (I can never spell that damn word...)

I shall hold you to that :)

Been around a little in Sweden, but out of the country it's been the following, in order:

Mallorca in the Mediterranean when I was about four with my family.

Denmark when I was ten with my uncle and grandparents, went to Legoland :D Then again to Denmark with the rest of the family when I was eleven.

Crete with the family when I was 19. Last trip we made with the entire family.

Atlanta in the US when I was 21, went to visit my then girlfriend. Liked it.

New York and Washington DC this past fall at age 28, FUCKING LOVED New York and hung out with the lovely tsq all too briefly. Need to go back, but sadly won't have the money this year since this fall...

Going to Japan with the entire family for my oldest sister's wedding ceremony in Sendai. Staying there for a bit, then going down to Kyoto for a few days, before going to Tokyo and then going home.

Hoping to make it back to New York next spring.

I have been to: Sweden, Estonia, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Germany, Latvia, Cyprus, Greece, South Korea and the Philippines:)

Granted my time there was many years ago, but it was awesome! I didn't want to leave. The people are great. I didn't get as much time to travel as I wanted because I was in college (had to at least try to go to classes once in a while). I did make it to Canberra, Sydney (twice), Brisbane, and Hobart.

Definitely a recommended trip!

:techman:

Blue - lived
Light blue - Spent more than 48 hours in a row in
Red - At least traveled through
Yellow - Airport only

I've only really lived in Washington State, though I spent the first six weeks of my life in Missouri.
I've been to Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri, Florida, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Hawaii.
I've also been in Singapore and had a brief layover in Japan.
