As a teenager i did the 'Interrail'-thing to Holland, England and Scotland...
Oh, I envy you this!
-I've not done nearly as much travel as I'd like. My family was poor, so travel was fairly limited when I was a kid. I grew up in Seattle, and my international travel was pretty much limited to day trips to Vancouver or Victoria BC. They were often trips to get drugs, but I didn't know that! I do have fond memories of doing trips with my mother to Victoria via the Victoria Clipper, and I would highly recommend that trip to anyone visiting the Pacific Northwest. We also did a couple of family reunions in Yellowstone, and I got to go to New Orleans (where my dad grew up) to meet my grandparents when I was 14. One of my friend's parents gave her a trip to Hawaii for her graduation present, and paid for me to go with her, which was pretty damn cool. The total U.S. states I've been to are:
Colorado (Denver for work)
Connecticut
Hawaii
Idaho
Louisiana
New Jersey
New York
Oregon
Pennsylvania (Philly for work)
Washington
Wyoming
-I studied in Egypt for awhile when I was 17, mainly staying in Cairo and Aswan. LOVED IT.
-I studied in Mexico (primarily Puebla City) for awhile when I was 19, and it remains one of my favorite cities.
-A few years ago I had the opportunity to travel to Mumbai, though not under the best circumstances; my mother and I went so she could have life-saving surgery by a specialist. Due to medical complications, what was supposed to be a two week trip ended up being about a month and a half. It was amazing, though. I spent half the time in a hospital room watching Australian TV, and the other half on my own wandering around Mumbai. One of my favorite memories was spending an afternoon drinking amazing, fresh-squeezed juices in a cafe and trying to hold a conversation in my miserable French with a couple of lovely young Nigerian men.
My mom also took this picture of me in Mumbai, and it's one of my favorites:
The places I'd most like to travel to now are Europe (i've been to the airpots in Paris and Amsterdam, but that's it

), Sub-Saharan Africa, and Australia.
