Where Do You Keep Your Condoms?

Cause premarital sex isn't mentioned in the 10 Commandments, only adultery is.

THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT

You shall not commit adultery.112
You have heard that it was said, "You shall not commit adultery."
But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.113

The hell? Exodus 20:14 "You shall not commit adultery."

Try again there, friend.

Great research there, sport. But please don't quote and contradict me if you don't even bother to click the link you're contradicting. Here, I'll do it for you:

You shall not commit adultery. 112

112 --> EX 20:14; --> Deut 5:18
113 --> Mt 5:27-28

See? The Exodus quote is already there and supplemented.

Try again there, friend.

1. I've broken many commandments. Being a heathen is a full time gig!

2. I don't carry condoms on me, as I'm no longer putting myself into situations where sex can "just happen", like a club or a bar. They're in my bedside table. If I do go out on a date then I keep one in my pocket...but since the sort of girls who go for a guy like me are total whores they usually have the goody bag from the clinic at their place.

I'm not a mod and don't pretend to be and I'm not trying to act like one but quit trying to derail this thread and take your argument to TNZ where it belongs, mmkay?

Exodus and Deuteronomy forbid adultery via the Ten Commandments. They say nothing about not looking lustfully.

Jesus, on the other hand, in Matthew, teaches that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has committed adultery.

Your claim that the Ten Commandments forbids pre-marital sex is false.

There's no rule banning religious discussion in Misc, Mr. Mini-Mod.

Well if someone's a Christian and believe that Jesus was 100% man as well as 100% God, then it goes hand-in-hand that fornication is forbidden by the 10 Commandments (since Jesus said it was and he was 100% God and the 10 Commandments were created by God... he was just clarifying by this logic).

I actually have some in my desk drawer at home. They gave them out by the handful at one of the "welcome week" events at college. I didn't take any, but two of my friends did because they thought it was funny. Apparently they also thought it was funny to later give them all to me. I promptly dumped them in a drawer and forgot about them. But they're still there. If my parents ever decide to look in there I'm probably in for an unpleasant conversation or two.
What's so unpleasant about your parents knowing you can be responsible?

BTW: Do check the expiration dates -those things won't keep forever you know!

Uh, it's not like I'm ever going to use them...

Same here :rommie:

I'm pretty sure I have some lying 'round my place though.

Keep them with you in a backpack or travel bag for when you need them. Avoid carrying them on you, and don't carry them in the wallet or pocket (they'll deteriorate easily).

I used a condom once in my life, about 37 years ago. Never used one again after that. My wild and misspent youth was pre-herpes, pre-HIV and every girl was on the pill. And I've been married for the past 30 years, so there really hasn't been a need for one.

Attempting to drag this thread back on topic, I don't carry condoms with me when I go out anymore, seeing I have had a girlfriend for nearly two years now. I do have some in my dresser, tho they'll probably expire before we use them - and yes, we do have sex :p

Well, I have a stable relationship with ONE woman , so I pretty much know when sex is likely to happen and where, and therefore usually don't carry condoms on me. she's also on birth control, so often those condoms aren't used

but in my single days, I always thought inner jacket pockets were best.

I tend to keep mine at home
I carried one in my wallet for the first time in forever a couple of weeks ago

At the drug store where I buy them. The need for them doesn't exactly sneak up on me by surprise anymore. :(

I tend not to prepare for things that are extremely unlikely to happen, so I keep my condoms alongside my earthquake reparedness kit, my alien invasion alarm and my Arsenal Premier League Champions banners.
