Where did the Gem'Hadar in the wormhole go?

Have any novels ever been written about what happened to the Gem'Hadar fleet that was disappeared by the Prophets?

I'm not one to write fanfic, but if I were I think this would be an interesting idea: The Prophets did the same thing to them they did to Zek, they de-evolved them to a point before they were genetically manipulated, only they sent them to a point millions of years in the future.

So they arrive on the other side of the wormhole and see no trace of either the Federation or the Dominion, and only mind signs of any civilization whatsoever. When they run out of white, they realize they feel fine, except instead of withdrawal they feel hunger pangs. They set out to find the Founders in the logic that they are Gods and couldn't possibly be extinct, then they gradually start to assert their free will and there's a conflict between those who want to start their own colony and those who want to be 'Fixed' by the Founders.

Has any novel ever been written on this subject?

That's not how the Prophets function though, given their behavior for the rest of the series. We've never seen any indication the Prophets are killers.

For a species such as the Prophets (a non-corporeal non-linear race of beings) death means little, if anything, to them. I'm not classing them as "killers" but they have shown willingness to take life as it suited them.

Considering they appear, from those quotes, to have no real concept of death, does killing even apply? For that matter, aren't they just offering to return Akorem back to the point at which they found him?

They did an interesting featured episode in Star Trek Online where "the 2400" the lost fleet shows up 30 years later and then take over the station again.

I found it kind of interesting, even if the why's and how's weren't really explored much.

In an ironic twist of fate, the Prophets sent the Jem'Hadar into the Star Wars universe, where they became members of Jabba's sail barge crew.

If I remember it correctly some of the Jem'Hadar appeared inthe novel Unity. The Prophets sent a small number into some pocket reality or something and they threw the queen Conspiracy bug alien that was threatening Bajor into that dimension as well (or did Sisko do it?). Despite the time differences both appear in the reality at the same time. The fate of these Jem'Hadar isn't stated or what happened to the thousands of others.

I find it more likely based on the Prophets established MO that they would have sent them to somewhere they couldn't harm Bajor than just vanished them.

I've been making the assumption that the Prophets sent them all "somewhere" in time, they emerge from the wormhole a billion years in the past (or future) not immediately knowing anything was different.

I always assumed that the Jem'Hadar were simply wiped from existence. Death had no meaning for the Prophets until Sisko explained it to them; and remember, out linear existence was still a difficult concept for them to understand.

As another posted noted, they show up in Unity.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Prophets swept the Jem'hadar into an alternate timeline.

Might have been interesting if that alternate timeline was the MU, as it was already established that one can use the wormhole to switch universes.
