When you got that craving to eat something

I don't get cravings often, but when I do, it's for something very specific and totally random. The last time I had a real craving was probably a month ago. I really, really wanted a Papa Johns pizza. After a couple of days, I still wanted one, so I caved and ordered one for dinner. It lasted for two days.
 
I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night, go downstairs and eat a banana with a glass of milk, then rock in my mom's rocking chair until I'm sleepy again. Usually takes about 15 minutes total.
 
Right now I crave to make some popcorn with cheese butter over it. But I can't make that since then I'll sleep like crap and will fall asleep during class tommorow.
 
I don't keep processed crap in the house - so it's an apple or something like that.
I'm the same way. I'm the type who's never hungry during the day and always hungry late in the evening. About once a week I wake up in the middle of the night and just need a midnight snack. I keep a bunch of satsumas in my room to help with that craving -- one or two will do the trick and they're only about 30-40 calories each. Sometimes I need a little protein to be satisfied, so I'll usually go for a spoonful of peanut butter. Then back to sleep.
 
What do you go for? Ya know, its late at night, 11 PM, you know you are gonna be up a couple more hours, and you are hungry, you want to grab something to satisfy you, what do you go for? Healthy? Or something Chocolaty? What is your choice of snack to stop that craving! I go for the unhealthy and eat ice cream or something chocolaty :(

Hmm... since I live alone I don't "stock" much food for an 11PM moment, but I usually do have some kind of gourmet cheese around-- that would be my best bet. If it's earlier in the day and I get a craving for deep dish pizza... watch out!
 
I know it's not late, but couldn't be bothered to cook dinner tonight so I have ciabatta roll with brie and marmite, tomato chutney on the side ~ it is an English delicacy;) Although I do have enough for another one in a few hours so that fits for late night snacks ~ just imagine you read this in 4 hours time:)
 
I like to make a salad. Not a full size everything in it salad, just tomato, lettuce, a little shredded cheese and some croutons or bacon bits.

What would you count as a full size salad?! But yeah I generally have a salad (with croutons), carrots with some salad dressing, or frozen waffles.
