When was the first metion of the name Changeling?

As the title says, in which episode of Deep Space Nine was the name drop of Changeling happen? Cause im watching episode 16 of season 2 and the little girl called him a Changeling and Odo didn't seem to surprised by hearing that. And I don't remember hearing that name yet. Though its been a long time since ive watched season 1. Im finally got around to watch the whole series for the first time ever. Im enjoying the build up of the Dominion.

Croden: "A Changeling, like you."
Odo: "You've heard of other shape-shifters in the Gamma Quadrant?"
Croden: "Haven't they come through the wormhole yet? I assumed when I saw you-"

Croden is just baiting Odo: he knows less than he suggests. But the word appears to be in common use in Gamma.

I watched "Vortex" the other night on H&I. It was a good episode.

Besides the introduction of the word "changeling", I believe this episode may have also been when Odo's face appeared even more artificial than before.

In the earlier season 1 episodes, Odo looked more like, well, Rene Auberjonois. Wrinkle lines could clearly be seen on Odo's face. In "Vortex", it did appear that there may have been more prosthetic makeup on Auberjonois' face than in earlier episodes. Odo's face started to look really smooth in this (and subsequent) episode.
