When Does "New Tricks" Return?

Well it was picked up in September for series 7 and 8, so at a guess I'd say it'll likely be this autumn but I've not seen anything on the press office about it.
It's up on the BBC Press Office now that the new series starts the last week of this month-first of next.
My TV guide has a episode listed for 9pm this Friday and it does not have a R next to it so I guess its a new ep. Even though I have not heard anything from the BBC
