Just be really really quiet Honey.
A friend of mine has constant dry spells in her marriage. A month here, a month there because she has relatives who come and stay for a month and she doesn't want to do it when they are in the next room. Every weekend because she has family who stay every weekend as well (unavoidable). Then there is all the too tired, have to get up early nonsense so the free times are quickly gone and it's dry time again. Really not good IMHO for either the marriage or the family relationships.
Then I had this other friend who told me an average of how often she and her husband had sex and when I did the math it worked out to 6 times a year.
This is with someone she ADORED.. but it just wasn't important to her. Both of these people are married to very passive men who just placate and try and keep their wives happy at all times.
I dunno.. for me it's a "what is wrong with this picture" puzzle since these are otherwise happy marriages looking I'm looking at.
I dunno, I think one of the great things about a relationshipis that you can work things out with each other without having to justify it to everyone else. I'm sure there are things about my marriage that other people wouldn't get.
Oh believe me one half of these marriages is not happy with the lack of sex. Why do I know this? Because the other half talks about it as though they are silly children who whine for extra dessert. I wouldn't say it's working things out.
I once thought sex was the best thing on the planet, especially with my husband, but then he made his Red Velvet Cake, now that was 1000X better than sex.
Maybe I'll have him make that for my birthday.
