What's your opinion of Tina Fey?

Talented, funny, beautiful, I think she'll be around for a while. I've been a fan of her since she was on the Weekend Update on SNL and fully plan to see her movie this weekend, I'm also a big Steve Carrell fan.

Heard all the hype, so looked up a few images and shes definitely hot. But after watching some 30 Rock, really not liking her personality.

Wait a minute. That's not her personality; that's the personality of her character on the show. At least I think.

She is okay in small doses. I can't stand 30 Rock and her tenure as head writer on SNL. Personally, I think she tries too hard to be funny.

However when she is just one aspect of a production and there are other people keeping her in check (like in Mean Girls), then that's when she works for me.

Funny. Pretty. Sexy.

Dare say the next legitimate contender to the title of "The Next Lucille Ball?"

Look at this picture and see what a beauty Lucy was in her heyday.

I think she's one of the best actresses in the Medium today. She's funny, attractive, and just a really great actress. Love 30 Rock mainly because of the chemistry between her and Baldwin and even Morgan.

Yes, people forget how hot Lucy was in her youth.

Totally agree!

I've been a big fan of Tina's since watching her on Weekend Update during her SNL days and developed a crush. I agree with everyone here. I've gotten into 30 Rock as much as I should but what I've seen of the show has been brilliant! She seems to have a pretty tongue in cheek personality from the interviews I've read and seen her done. I agree Lucille Ball was indeed hot back in her day!

Okay, maybe I'm becoming a little too obsessed!

She's drop-dead gorgeous. But she isn't as funny as she thinks she is. And her personality, away from the camera, really annoys me.

I'm always amazed on how "frumpy" they make her look on 30 Rock The bad hair and horrible fashion sense.

Do you think Tina has staying power? Will she be a star 10 years from now? I hope so and wish her well.
Acting power for another 5-10 years unless after that she wants to do mother characters only.

Writing chops for the rest of her career. A Possible directing career.

I think she's one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, but I didn't realize it until I actually saw how gorgeous she looks in a movie ("Mean Girls")...not that she didn't look good on TV as well. I haven't enjoyed much of her work, though, aside from "Mean Girls" and some of her acting on SNL.

I think "30 Rock" is one of those overrated sitcoms where everyone acts way too wacky, yet people talk about it like it's the cutting edge of comedy and some kind of high water mark for creativity and originality in the genre. I just don't get it. Same goes for "Arrested Development". Didn't see the big deal about that either, although it obviously was a platform for some actors who have deservedly spun off their being showcased on it into successful movie careers.

But I digress...I'm not sure about Tiny Fey's talent. Yes, she wrote "Mean Girls", which I have a lot of respect for as one of the only decent teen/high school movies of the 2000s, but it was partially based on a book, "30 Rock" is lame, and she was head writer of SNL during one of its worst eras. Still, she's earned a lot of goodwill from me for her work on that movie I mentioned and her delightful Sarah Palin impression. At the moment, the amount of stuff she's done that I dislike outweighs how much of her work I like, but I can see that changing someday.

The one thing I will agree with her fans about is that she's a stunner, looks-wise. I really dig how natural her attractiveness is too. That's my favourite kind of beauty, the one that can pull off looking fantastic without a lot of make-up or the stereotypical Hollywood look and body type.

^About 5 years ago, I saw her coming out of Rockefeller Plaza in New York. That's when I discovered that while on TV she is pretty, in real life she is drop-dead gorgeous.

I wonder about her stint as head writer on SNL. I got the feeling that her stuff was first-rate but that she was surrounded by 2nd and 3rd rate writers. I wonder how much clout she had in determining the show's writing staff.

Really? How do you know what her personality is like away from the camera?

I mean from interviews of hers I've read or when I see her on talk shows. She really strikes me as full of herself.

Don't get me wrong, she's unbelieveably beautiful, a decent actress, and a fairly funny writer. She's just not as great as everyone, including herself, thinks she is.
