what's your local weather?

I would mind not having Abbott as my PM but unfortunately, being part of Australia, Tasmanians have to put up with him.

32C (90F) in Hobart at 11.27am. We usually hit our highest temperature around 6pm.

...but a lot of fires springing up. A dangerous few hours ahead for a lot of people.

I am completely covered in slimy sweat. It is unreal. I had a cold shower with my clothes on which helped for FIVE MINUTES.. it's almost surreal. In a good odd way, like how often do you realize your arms are radiating heat?!

Our thunderstorm has finished and the heat has gone back up a bit. It dropped to 21C (at 4pm) but was back up to 26 at 5pm.

Hobart has only had 3 days over 30C so far this month :) .

Edited to add - we only had 2 days over 30C in December.

So far much more bearable weather than we had last January.

about +5°C I'd estimate and it's drizzling. It's been an extremely warm and dry winter so far so that the rain is most welcome. If we don't get sharp frost soon we'll get a terrible greenfly and slug year, though.

Getting a real hard frost is something I'm pretty much guaranteed of. The more shocking thing is if it gets north of freezing here.

The summers here are beautiful. Then there's the other 50 weeks of the year.

Holy crap! It's 36 here approaching 9 AM. Overcast, and pretty sure it's windy. Always windy here. I'll take the dog out in a few and see.

It is pleasant sunny day. It is 16C at the moment, a maximum of 22C expected. This is the temperature range I enjoy the most.
