what's your local weather?

^but we love you all the same! :)

Weather in Eastern Bavaria today: freezing fog. Visibility is about 50 yards. Plus it's Monday - how much worse can a day possibly get?

We might get 1-2 inches of snow here during the next forty-eight hours. After all the fizzles and missed calls recently, we'll believe it when we see it.

They're predicting 6-8 inches of snow tomorrow..today is sunny and nice: 50 degrees. :-)

Currently overcast and 42F. Depending on who you ask, we're getting anywhere from 1 to 12 inches of snow over the next 36 hours or so, and it might start tonight or it might not start til tomorrow night. Yeah. Fortunately I went grocery shopping yesterday, so I don't have to battle any crowds for French toast ingredients.

The actual weather here at the moment is 58 F and bright sun. This is the warmest and brightest afternoon since the end of the Polar Vortex cold snap so it's a little difficult to believe there might be a couple of inches of snow on the ground by the end of tomorrow night, but we'll see.

A cold drizzle here. I am not sure if the grey stoff overhead is low clouds or high fog. Propably a mix of both.
One of these colourless and dull days you'd better spend in bed (actually, I overslept today LOL. Usually I start work at 6, today I started at 8:30)

about the same temperature here but it's still drizzling. Might get slippery in the night. I think I better plan in an extra 30 mins for my business trip tomorrow.

Weather.com has upped snowfall totals to 8-12 inches for local counties, which is awesome because we have resident students moving back in today, and classes supposed to start tomorrow. Neither my school nor the public school system in the city I work in have announced any closures, although my town and most others have announced early dismissals.

It hasn't started snowing yet, though. 20F with the return of the windchill bringing it down to 10. The wind is going to be the really dangerous bit. School-wide decisions or not, my department (my sister and I) will leave work early.

My immediate area is supposed to get anywhere from 2 to 4 inches, and there's an 80 percent chance of that much falling during the course of the day. We'll see, but by this afternoon and evening everything around here should be covered in white.

Windchill was -40 C this morning. It was frackin' cold waiting for the bus. Right now its -29 with the windchill, so not much better.

23F with gusty winds and about 5 inches of snow at 3PM. Hopefully the roads will be better since I don't have to be at work till 9 tonite.

Another winter weather fizzle. We were supposed to have 1 - 3 inches of snow on the ground by the end of this evening and nothing's out there but wet roads and a dusting on the tops of grass and vehicles.

Currently 32 degrees and snowing, but it's not very impressive.
