They promise cooling by Wednesday, for us it means it might not get above 100F/37C.

The actual high here today was 105F/41C, by the time I got home, the temperature had started to "cool" down to 102F/39C. We have some monsoon moisture coming up from the Gulf of California, and over the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. No rain for us in the valley, just high humidity.

The high here was 107F/42C. The monsoon humidity added 8F/5C to the feels like temperature. They say it is only supposed to get to 99F tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it. Currently it has dropped 7F from the high temperature.
