what's your local weather?

The last time we had any measurable rain was in April. We did get a trace of rain on July 12, just enough to mess up dust on the cars parked outside.
It is going to get close to 100F/38C today, but not as high as yesterday, currently it is 98F/37C.

^ my husband won't let me turn the thermostat below 77 F, so I have the ceiling fan on all day.
I have 20 inch box fans running, and the heat pump is a high efficiency model. When the temperature drops below 80F outside, I shut off the heat pump and turn on the Swamp cooler, and run it until sunrise. I can shut it off, seal off the house and the heat pump won't come on until about noon.
