A recent study, published in Geophysical Research Letters, combines historical satellite observations with atmospheric reanalysis data to construct a multidecade record of low-cloud cover in the hope of improving current climate models.
It hasn't gotten to the peak temperature for today. Currently it is 103F/39C, but feels like 112F/44C, and will probably top out at 105F/45C. I go outside every hour and move 4 impulse sprinklers on hoses, and don't care if I get sprayed, at least the water from my well is about 55-60F.
