what's your local weather?

Cooler today than Monday. It was 93F here before 10AM, it reached the high of 102 F / 39 C at 1PM PDT and it has been holding steady for 4 hours. I've got to mow a couple of acres of grass this evening, I'll start about an hour before sunset, should be in the mid 90s by then.

144º today, but it extremely humid for us, at around 40%, and it was cloudy off and on.
We also just got a tiny, tiny bit of rain, like for only a couple minutes, but it was still the first we've gotten any in months.
That was supposed to be 114º.
We apparently got more rain last night because when we got up this morning things were wet, but that also made it a lot more humid. It was 63% this morning, but did drop once the sun came up and things started to dry out a bit. Didn't check the temp as much, but I don't think we ever got over 110º.

I was listening to something the other day, I think it was the D-Con podcast with Andre Bormanis? who was talking about how the climate had changed so much in Phoenix because of the explosion in population: no humidity when he moved there as a kid, now more and more humid every year.

The same thing seems to be happening here. We've always had hot summers, up to 110, but I didn't even suspect the existence of high humidity till we made a trip to the east coast when I was 13. In the last decade, more and more hot days with high humidity. For the first time ever, our temperatures are revised UPWARD for "feels like" temperatures.

They make so many jokes about "well, but it's a dry heat"-- but truly, the difference in how tolerable it is, is huge.

We have had 3 days of 35+C and that was our cool down. Today forecast is 38C, then above 40C through at least the end of next week.

Thunder has been rumbling for about an hour and the sky looks very ominous. No green clouds or sky as yet, but I suspect this coming storm will be a doozy.

We were a tiny cooler for a couple days, and even got a tiny bit of rain, not even enough to get the ground wet, yesterday. Now today we're dried out and warmed back up and made it to 114º.
