what's your local weather?

When I first checked the Weather Channel app at a little before 5AM this morning it showed a huge yellow and red thunderstorm going over us on the radar around 10AM, then when I checked a couple hours later, it had it coming at 11AM. I checked again around 10 and it had it at noon, and then the last time I checked it had it around 2PM. It's now 8:10PM and all we ever got was a light drizzle a couple of time, and I don't think either even lasted 10 minutes. You'd think meteorologists would have been doing this long enough that they'd be better at predicting this stuff.

It's currently 29 in my kitchen, 25 in my bedroom with AC, 26 in my living room with AC. I didn't even look at my tv room

Spring is here! Beautiful 20°C and clear skies. Lots of daffodils in bloom and the cherry blossoms are starting to bud.

I didn't check the temp this afternoon, but we have been steadily getting hotter since cooled down last week. We're supposed to be up to 111º by Saturday, but it's gonna cool down a little bit again.

Several thunderstorms moving through today. I was driving into town to fill up my car before gas prices jumped up again and I saw lots of lightning in the dark clouds ahead. I turned around and went back home. One of the places I would rather not be with all that lightning zinging around is a gas station.

Yeah, I could see why you'd feel that way.
We hit 114º, and officially set the record for the most days over 110º in a year.

We just had a thunderstorm, with lots of thunder and lighting and it rained pretty hard for a little while. It wasn't a ton of rain, but we need all the rain we can get.

I haven't paid attention to the temps, but it has been cooling down the last few days. For the first time in months, I almost felt like I might have need a light jacket when I first left the house on my bike ride this morning.
