A PSA: the Australian Bureau of Meterology (BOM) has declared this year will be an El Nino year. Over here it will be hotter and dryer than ever, in an already climate change environment. It's going to be bad. For a year. But what that should mean for the US, especially the West Coast, is rain, and lots of it. So be ready!
Tropical storm is battering us. We are supposed to get between 3 and 5 inches of rain. Gotta keep these swamps full and swampy.

It's cooled down to the 80s now, it was actually cool enough out that I was able to go on an afternoon/evening bike ride instead of my usual morning ride, which I haven't been able to do in quite a while.
It was beautiful today. Sunny and warm. The high today was 27° (81°F). In *checks calendar* October. Sadly, they say it's not going to last.
Interesting, given the air currents. I like looking here. earth :: a global map of wind, weather, and ocean conditions (nullschool.net)
The high is in the 60s and getting down into the 40s tonight. I don't want to turn on the heat yet, but...
Well, they did say it wouldn't last. Today's high was only 10° (50°F), and it only managed to hit that for a scant couple hours. I miss last Tuesday.
