It's so hot here that I am expecting to see giant ferns and dinosaurs coming out of nowhere anytime now.

Even though there are several movies telling us why Dinosaurs in the Information Age is a bad thing I still await the day I can have one as a pet!

It's only a matter of time before we decipher our DNA to a point where it will be possible to program it like any computer language. When we get there, we will be capable of making not only dinosaurs but even imaginary beasts with all sorts of bizarre features. On the useful side, imagine bacteria that could terraform a planet!! That could clean up our environment, that badly needs it. Plants that grow in the most hostile of conditions! If we play our cards right, this could be really great.

I have relatives in the affected areas of Oklahoma in the last few days. Thankfully, they've all been safe and unaffected, but it's been scary down there!
