Even though there are several movies telling us why Dinosaurs in the Information Age is a bad thing I still await the day I can have one as a pet!
It's only a matter of time before we decipher our DNA to a point where it will be possible to program it like any computer language. When we get there, we will be capable of making not only dinosaurs but even imaginary beasts with all sorts of bizarre features. On the useful side, imagine bacteria that could terraform a planet!! That could clean up our environment, that badly needs it. Plants that grow in the most hostile of conditions! If we play our cards right, this could be really great.
I'm sorry you're all so hot! It's getting hot here, too, but today was only about 73°F. With the sun and almost no wind, it wasn't pleasant for me, but it was bearable.
I have relatives in the affected areas of Oklahoma in the last few days. Thankfully, they've all been safe and unaffected, but it's been scary down there! Stay safe!
I hope today's sun is as metaphorically accurate as last night's storms were. 59°F I'm pretty sure I'll be outside for the majority of the afternoon and evening. I hope it doesn't get too warm later.
^same here. Its not even very hot today (about 26°C) but the air feels unbearably thick and heavy - it's like breathing lukewarm potato chowder.
