I'll say! We're only 3 weeks into winter. Still, we've been known to have Snow on Christmas Day when I was growing up. And that was 3 weeks into spring. A lot of daffodils are starting to flower, so this weather really has confused them! Weather is sounding pleasant in Bavaria - I hope you got your clothes in in time.^that's pretty cold, considering that on your side of the planet winter is just starting.
Weather in eastern Bavaria: warm and humid. And it hasn't been raining for at least 12 hours!
The first black clouds are drifting in, though. (Figures! I have tons of laundry today)
Not that pleasant at the moment: we've had violent thunderstorms, flashfloods and mudslides for the last 4 weeks. But at least my lettuce loves the warm and humid weather - as do the slugs.Weather is sounding pleasant in Bavaria - I hope you got your clothes in in time.
Gosh, the weather is crazy. Were there any injuries to people or property? Wet here all day. Cold in Melbourne. The weeds should come out easily I hope. Not that pleasant at the moment: we've had violent thunderstorms, flashfloods and mudslides for the last 4 weeks. I hung up the laundry in the attic, just in case, so it didn't get soaked again. Today it's overcast but the sun is just breaking through. Temperatures today are going to be around 22°C but the forcast predicts a short heatwave for the next days (and up to 32°C!). Of course it'll rain again in the weekend when I have a date with the weeds in my parents' garden![]()
Oh gosh, the photos are incredible but scary at the same time. It sure makes some of the houses look frail. Thank you so much for your story. We didn't have very much video coverage over here.^ 7 killed, several hundred houses destroyed in my district. I'm not sure about the overall damage in the whole of Bavaria. Don't worry, though - we are used to small floods and can deal with a big one rather well. Tidying up is in full swing and particularly the refugees from Senegal, Syria, Iran and Iraq lend a hand wherever one is needed. It's really cool to see everyone working together and strangers becoming neighbours. That's how the world ought to be imho (though propably less muddy..).

Small break from the rain today: 25°C and overcast. It's only 8 am here but already it's unbearable as the air is so extremely humid. They don't call the Danube valley Bavaria's Amazonas for nothing![]()
