what's your local weather?

There was some unexpected snow today, and we weren't prepared. I know snow is rare now in my country but even the weather man was surprised.

Very chilly and drizzly today. So far, we have been warm enough to keep the drizzle as rain and not ice.

Low this morning was just below freezing, high upper 50s F. Sunny, increasing clouds this evening. It is supposed to start raining Wednesday evening through Friday morning.

We had slushy precipitation this morning, but the temps were right at 32, so the roads were iffy but okay-ish. Hopefully it will dry up as it warms up today. Tonight we supposed to drop into the teens, and that doesn't mix well with wet roads.

up to 5 feet of snow at elevations above 5,000 ft.

Did I read that right?? That's apparently just over 1.5 metres! That's snowmageddon levels!

I guess I should probably stop complaining about our snowstorm-every-two-or-three-days-whether-we-need-it-or-not weather this winter. We haven't had a two-day accumulation anywhere near that so far this year.

As for local weather, yeah, it's snowstorm day today. Next one's coming this weekend. :(
