what's your local weather?

It was like six degrees here last night, and our furnace went out. Our HVAC contractor at first said they couldn't get anybody out till Tuesday, but when I pressed a little, they set somebody for tomorrow morning. Hoping they're able to fix it then. But it's been a long cold day in Casa Wreathalist, bundled up in bed with nothing but space heaters running. Currently 20 degrees outside.

ETA: Heroic HVAC guy arrived this morning and got our furnace running again. Merry Christmas!

We had something of a perfect storm scenario, as we had torrential rain after snow and an ice storm, high wind and king tides. So this is how the holiday season ends for the family.

Yikes. That sucks.

Weather has gotten a bit better, so I did my best to try to clear out some of the meeting snow and ice.

We had quite a bit of rain today, it rained pretty much all day from before I woke up all the way through to the early afternoon.

Had a lot of rain, so my property is drenched snow and ice. Hopefully we warm enough to melt some off, but it's a sloggy mess, with water over the roads, pot holes the size of cars, and all kinds of problems from this.

It rained some more last night, but I slept through it. A woman I follow on IG who lives on a ranch across town, posted a video of it pouring rain at 11:00PM.

It's been cloudy all day and the last time I checked the temp was when I was getting ready for my bike ride and it 53º out, probably didn't get much warmer than that.
