It's sunny and 102ºF with a slight breeze, I haven't been outside, so I'm not sure how humid it is.
 
Looks like I lucked out and Ian isn't going to scoot up the coast this time. Although it looks like it might go by my daughter's home, now.
 
I hate the fall, grey clouds, raining.... occasionally there might be a sunny day but that's rare.
Song called 'Dead Leaves' by Finnish metal band Sentenced puts it very well.... Here are some lines from that song.

"Death has taken over and slowly fades the light away"
"The deadly shadows fall and the bleeding sun sinks down below"

It's cooled off significantly over the past week. As much as I hate to do it this early in the fall, I ended up turning the furnace on yesterday. :(

Thanks for that. Another Finnish metal band I didn't know about. Now I need to go find 8 albums.
 
80 degrees, smoke filled haze with ash falling from the wildfire that's burning in the Western foothills of the Cascade Mountains. It's the middle of October and the greater Puget Sound is 25-30 degrees above our normal temperature this time of year with no rain in the extended forecast.
