Really nice sunny day, nice after all the high winds and rain we have had this past week!

Of all the dangerous weather, tornadoes frighten me the most. They are sudden and unpredictable (though the forecasters have gotten better at predicting them over the years.

Today is sunny and temperate. It is a beautiful day for a leisurely walk, so that's exactly what we did. :D

It's warmed back up so we're pretty much in the '70s and '80s for the foreseeable future.

Cooled.off here the last few days. March has been a little more spring-like than February. Feb. felt almost summer-like.

It's breezy and just a tad chilly here today. Just what March should be.

The severe storms in Alabama this week are visible even from space.

James Spann reported on-air (ABC 33/40, Birmingham) that there had been "major damage" at his house.

    The spin ups revealed
    https://www.climatecentral.org/news/monster-tornado-model-18283

The nearest twister to me was an EF-1, 500 yards across--on the ground for 4.78 mi.
This tornado tracked just south of Interstate 59, damaging approximately 42 homes in the Roebuck area just east of Birmingham–Shuttlesworth International Airport. Most of damage to these homes was caused by falling trees.[27]

    Yet another threat coming!

It's warming up, we're in the 80s today, and we're supposed to be up to the high 90s by the weekend. We aren't supposed to cross 100, but when we're that close, it's pretty likely.

Rainy, cold and with the possibility of snowflakes in the air for tomorrow. It's definitely not the weather of a day or two ago.

Getting a hard freeze tonight, so covering up a lot of plants. Everything was just starting to bud, too.
