What's your guilty viewing pleasure show/movie?

His overacting on CSI: Miami and the overall cheesiness of his dialog just crack me up. And the overdramatic music and slow motion stuf can be quite hilarious.

Like I said I enjoyed it for a while (I mostly watched it with my brother and it basically was an hour of mocking and make fun of Caine/caruso), but after a season or two of it it just became very, very old and annoying.

I used to love Las Vegas, which I would giuilty viewing but now days I guess I have none. Maybe the nearest thing is NIP/TUCK but my interest is starting to get think with the show anyway.

speaking about Las Vegas just read some great news...
Michael Ausiello of TVGuide said that there are plans, should a proper resolution not be possible, to have the characters of Danny McCoy and Delinda Deline cameo in an episode of Knight Rider carrying a newborn

I probably think KR could become guilty pleasure next season.

I think NCIS is my guilty pleasure. There must be others but I'm shot if I can remember them right now.

CSI Miami. You can't stop the power of teh Horatio! Especially with those sunglasses!

It was funny for a while to watch it and poke fun at Caruso/Caine, but everytime I see parts of it now I just cringe and wonder what kind of idiot thought it was a good idea to make Caruso the lead of a series and/or create a character like Horatio "I'm better/cooler/more intelligent etc. than anybody else" Caine.

I just think it's cheesy good fun. It's very 80's. Plus Eva LaRue and Emily Proctor are hot and flash their cleavage quite a bit. :D  Besides Caruso is quite a good actor if given the right material. He was great on NYPD Blue. Yeah I don't really consider CSI Miami a guilty pleasure because I do actually watch it because it's so bad. And it has hot girls and nifty photography.

I still love Desperate Housewives and watch it every week. I got roped into this season of Survivor, too, which hasn't happened in a few years...

Otherwise there's only a few shows I watch, and I wouldn't call any of them guilty pleasures.

I would say Grey's Anatomy and Gilmore Girls. Easily described as "chick shows" but I don't care.

Before I was posted overseas I would have to say the show "Biggest Loser". I'm just fascinated by some of the transformations!

I like that show as well..the finale threw me for a loop..did it for you as well??

I also watch too much reality TV-but I like watching cat fights..I watched Flavor of Love 3 this weekend and America's Next Top Model. Flavor Flav is ridiculous looking! I mean who wants to go out with someone that looks like your pimp??? Most of them are for his $$ I think.
I just like America's Next Top Model for Tyra Banks..she is absolutely beautiful and is not ashamed to flaunt her curves! :)

Gossip Girl, Ghost Whisperer, One Tree Hill and Rock of Love.

Gossip Girl - while it's premise is totally different it has the same vibe as Melrose Place, the what will these idiots do next thing, which I used to love to watch. Plus the chemer on the show really do know how to mess with people's lives which i always entertaining.

Ghost Whisperer - Watching Jennifer Love Hewitt for an hour is NEVER a bad thing. LOL

One Tree Hill - I love watching evil/bad characters  do their thing and stir the pot and Dan is as big a prick as you'll find on network TV. :techman: Got a soft spot for Brooke too.

Rock of Love - the women on the show are abolutely hilarious!! It's true "train wreck" tv.

Charmed when it was on; there was just something irresistably goofy and fun about it, even at its worst (which was pretty much the entirety of season 8). Plus Piper was such a great character, even when she was being a bitchy, passive-aggressive shrew.

Now, it's CSI: Miami, which I only started watching very recently. The earlier episodes are tolerable visual wallpaper, but the more recent stories... The writers must be coming up with this stuff as a joke, as it's become so ridiculous that nobody in their right mind could take it seriously. The "Divorce... [sunglasses on] ...of the future [YEAAAAAHHHH!]" and "Cold... [sunglasses on] ...as ice [YEAAAAAHHHH!]" episodes were hilariously stupid in every possible way.

Guilty pleasure movie: Down With Love, which is so almost completely at odds with the rest of my DVD collection that I wonder if I should store it on a shelf of its own.

I probably think KR could become guilty pleasure next season.

They can bring in some Crossing Jordan characters and have a three way crossover! :D

My guilty pleasures: The Biggest Loser, The Bachelor (my wife watches it and I ride along and make snarky comments about the contestants), and anything with Gordon Ramsay in... Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares. I also love Solitary on Fox Reality (closet VAL fan). But my biggest most guilty pleasure is a show no longer in production: for two seasons I was the world's biggest fan of Who Wants To Be A Superhero on SciFi.

So that series was canceled? I was wondering if it was coming back this summer but there was no news on it. Not that I care or anything, but it was guilty quality sometimes.

SG:A, which I watch solely for Joe Flanigan. :D

Ditto here. The show isn't that good anymore at all...but Joe Flanigan is still breathtaking, so it's worth the 45 minute (less if I FF through the non-Joe scenes) investment of my time.

Smallville sorta falls into the same category with Tom Welling's breathtaking babeliciousness...although that show is IMO better than Atlantis, due almost entirely to Michael Rosenbaum's tremendous acting, which pretty nearly redeems the whole thing, it is so good.

I don't know as I have any other guilty pleasures. I watch many shows on DVD these days (even more since the writers strike) and so I don't really watch a whole lot of stuff that sucks - no reality shows, no CSI spinoffs, no American Idol/Dancing With the Stars....nothing like that.

In fact, the only shows I recorded last season other than those listed above where Boston Legal (and that only occasionally - I really watch that on DVD), Pushing Daisies (neither of these last two suck) and Doctor Who/Torchwood.

Well, okay...Torchwood kinda sucks. But I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be dropping that one anyway.

I used to watch The O.C. and that was a guilty pleasure...but it finished over a year ago and I didn't replace it with any other nighttime soaps.
