What's your guilty viewing pleasure show/movie?

Pretty simple what this is about. My guilty viewing pleasure in TV shows is most definetly "Grey's Anatomy". I mean it's such a chicks show, I knew that going in, it's a soap etc. but I still love it! I mean not fanfic-writing love it but still don't miss an episode.

Can't think of a movie at the moment, but rest assured it will pop up.

So do list your own guilty viweing pleasures!

SG:A, which I watch solely for Joe Flanigan. :D

Reaper, tho it's starting to get smarter, and therefore less guilty.

If Heroes gets dumber, it will be in guilty-pleasure territory, tho I'm hoping it goes the other direction.

Probably Aussie soap opera Neighbours. I record it on Sky+ so I don't miss it when I work during the day :D

Although I don't really see why I should think of it as a "guilty" pleasure, its awesome!
Frazer Yeats is a legend!

Smallville -- it's braindead, repetitive and it actually makes you lose IQ points every time you watch it (just ask the TrekBBS users who give every episode an "excellent" vote), but British Columbia and most of the women look great in HD, and I've been watching most episodes since the pilot, so I guess I'll be there until the bitter (and I do mean bitter) end.

CSI Miami. You can't stop the power of teh Horatio! Especially with those sunglasses!

It was funny for a while to watch it and poke fun at Caruso/Caine, but everytime I see parts of it now I just cringe and wonder what kind of idiot thought it was a good idea to make Caruso the lead of a series and/or create a character like Horatio "I'm better/cooler/more intelligent etc. than anybody else" Caine.

^ Well, you have to admit with the money he's raking in, the show sure saved David Caruso's ass. He leaves NYPD Blue to pursue a movie career after 1+ seasons even though his first big movie with him as the lead (Kiss of Death) hadn't even come out, and the dream script he pursued that he couldn't have made while on Blue turned out to be... Jade.

I just think it's cheesy good fun. It's very 80's. Plus Eva LaRue and Emily Proctor are hot and flash their cleavage quite a bit. :D  Besides Caruso is quite a good actor if given the right material. He was great on NYPD Blue. His overacting on CSI: Miami and the overall cheesiness of his dialog just crack me up. And the overdramatic music and slow motion stuf can be quite hilarious.

Caruso was great on NYPD Blue, but he plays the same damned character all the time. What was fresh and exciting in 1993-94 is old hat now (even after eight years out of the spotlight), and only moreso as CSI: Miami enters its seventh season.

I admit I used to watch...God help me, I was so stupid...AbFab.

Looking back, I can't believe I used to watch that dreck. What the fuck did I ever see in that stupid show? I did think 'Bubble' was cute though. I liked watching her get dumber and dumber as the seasons wore on. Like when Edina has told her to buy a laptop and she comes back with a little dog sticking out of her bag. "A lap..TOP?!?!?"

Sliders. The show is abysmally formulaic, but the chemistry that develops between Q-Ball, the Crying Man, Wade (super hot), and Prof. Arturo is almost unparalleled. It saves even the worst of the movie rip-off episodes from being totally unwatchable. That said, I only have four episodes left before Arturo makes his departure. I'm not looking forward to the last 2 and 1/2 season of the show.

Stargate: Atlantis. The show just hasn't been there since the second season begun. I keep hoping it will return to season one form, but that year keeps getting further and further away and the characters left from that year keep getting fewer and fewer (Weir, Ford, Carson, Koyla, Cowen... all gone).

Once Maggie shows up, you'll understand what you weren't looking forward to and why.

Grey's Anatomy, The O.C., American Idol

CSI Miami used to be on the list as well, but I haven't watched an episode in over six months.

Probably Aussie soap opera Neighbours. I record it on Sky+ so I don't miss it when I work during the day :D

The actress who played Lyn Scully lives round the corner from me, I used to see her in her garden all the time :) I've been out to Ramsay Street once or twice when we had visitors.

Meanwhile my guilty pleasure is Ugly Betty. Great, great show, totally hilarious. Vanessa Williams is my hero.

TV - American Gladiators (New series)

Maybe I just enjoyed the old one so much but I don't know why I like the new one. This season is pretty good so far, and they really were reading the criticisms and improved the show so much. I'm thinking now maybe they have too many Gladiators but we'll see how this goes. I think the only thing I don't like is the guy who won last year is always doing the wall I don't think any of the guy contenders have a chance. If it happens though, I will be shocked.
