Contest: VOTE What's your favorite ENT character and why?

Hell I wouldn't mind a miniseries now, with Shran getting the refit NX-01 after the war's end, with Archer off to be pres. Throw in a multi-species crew and see what former cast members you could get to come back.

My goodness that would be a wonderful series to watch, or even read, I wonder what if anything cool occurred with Shran in the novels.

Combs (and Weyoun / Shran etc.) are some of the best things about any Trek they appear in.

Second in my affections only to Andrew J Robinson and Garak.

Combs is one of my favorite supporting cast for certain, everything he does shines imo.
I agree completely on Andrew Robinson as well; I loved reading the book he wrote about his characters back story, hearing that he had begun writing the book while the show was running really brings home how much time and effort he dedicated to bringing the character to life.

Trip, happy-go-lucky Chief Engineer but deadly serious in the Captain's chair
T'Pol, Jolene did a great job as a vulcan. I've seen her in other stuff and wasn't too impressed.
Phlox, probably my favorite doctor after Bones.
Shran, angry and argumentative but a man of honor.

Shran. I always liked Andorians and especially love the character and the actor.

The mirror versions totally were scary - Especially Archer (mean) & Reed (dangerous) and let's not forget Phlox I would not want him at my bedside!

It's funny but I could never really buy into the evil Archer character. Bakula is such a good guy that it was hard for me to see around it despite his being a good actor.

I know. Archer never seems that bad (even when he tries). Mr. Bakula is a very nice guy and he's also my Twitter mate. Enjoy contact with him on occasion - I don't bother him unless there's a need to know basis.

The whole mirror thing though seems silly. Just because it's a mirror universe to ours why should everyone be evil or bad?

I am for TnT, in my eyes their relationship is some kind of "pure feelings vs pure logic" plus " pure feelings and pure logic" allegory. Star Trek is always about politics and philosophy. (ok, ok, I know it is also very hard business and about making money kind of stuff) . My respects to JB and CT, they gave us a very passionate and sensual dance together, despite some poorly writing.
I read several times the people didn't like massage scenes, but I want to know how could you bring else these two very different characters closer and intimidate? Any idea? (or would it be better open a new thread, not to discus here?)

Welcome to the forum, sekundant. :)

You're welcome to begin a new thread about Trip and T'Pol! We haven't had one for a while. I am also a big fan of TnT.

T'Pol is my favorite followed by Reed, and Tucker. All had some poor moments at the beginning of the series but grew on me. Also the TnT romance just worked for me. As for Reed, well I'm something of an anglophile.

My favorite is Trip. He's this down-to-earth kind of guy I'd befriend in real life. Hard worker with a good sense of humor.
