What's your favorite Christmas movie?

It's hard to beat the Christmas spirit of the last scene. Over a hundred people are dead, the tarmac is in flames and in the background they're playing a Christmas carol.

Oh, I don't know, sounds like a typical family Christmas to me...
^^ My condolences!
But it's moments like that which make those movies so much fun.

Actually, my family Christmasses are fairly unremarkable, but I've never let reality get in the way of a good one-liner.

And neither did Bruce Willis.

I agree the George C. Scott "A Christmas Carol" is wonderful and my favorite as well. And my wife's is "White Christmas". We get a good dose of each this time of year.

Gitta give a nod to Ralphie in "A Christmas Story" as well.

Also, Ghosbusters 2. I know it's not strictly a Christmas movie, but it's a really fun seasonal movie.

Oh, and Trading Places.

I can't say one specific movie as my very favorite, but a quick top five would be:

White Christmas
Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
Home Alone
It's A Wonderful Life
A Christmas Carol (The Muppets and Patrick Stewart are tied for that one)

I switch between these, although if I really had to pick one, I'd probably choose "It's A Wonderful Life". Just utterly brilliant as a movie, and a heartfelt classic. Sometimes I feel like ol' George Bailey, and it just resonates so strongly with me.

Die Hard and Monty Python's The Meaning of Life
