What's Your Favorite BEER?

I'll throw Yuengling out there, since it hasn't been mentioned, but I'll also add some Delaware pride with Dogfish Head (which is a very good IPA and comes in some creative varieties).

Killians
Moston Ice
Sam Adams

I am a Brandy man though.

If I just wanna get drunk on the cheap...Nothing like a 211(Steel Reserve)

:)

I like wheat beers, malty beers and fruity & spicy ones. Stuff like Hobgoblin, Black Sheep, Sapporo, Poacher's Choice, Broadside, Goliath etc, etc, etc. Actually, I tend to like most of what local brewer Wychwood makes.

Still prefer my wines, but sometimes a beer is just the right choice.

I nearly bought box with a selection of their ales tonight, but I figured I've been drinking a little too much lately with my meds.

My favorite is Leinenkugel's (original or amber) but I usually just end up drinking Busch Light ("Blue Yummies"). Which probably indicates that my taste buds are no longer in working condition.

Just space them out more. :D

^^^ I did a tour of the Leinie brewery once. Cool stuff.

I did too. When I was in college at UW-Eau Claire, they did these special tours for students. After the tour, they held a graduation ceremony for all of the participants. In addition to the usual tour stuff, they gave us graduation hats, diplomas and class pictures. The next year, those who particiapted got to go on a special "graduate school" tour. We got unlimited samples, so things were pretty hazy towards end of that one. Don't think they'd be allowed to do that nowadays.

I usually don't drink at all, but there's been a few birthdays and I thought "sod it, I'm having a drink" and had a few Marston's ales, and since I drink so little nowadays 2 had me feeling tipsy.

I don't really have a favourite beer, as I barely drink at all, these days (got most of it done when I was a younger man and could recover from a session nice and quickly). But I do tend to prefer ales. I like the smooth, rich taste and texture.

I don't mind a lager, either - here in BritLand they're so much better now than they were 20-odd years back. My god, lager was a pitiful drink, back then.

Oh - and mark me down as a fan of Newcastle Brown as well.

Boulevard Wheat, with a slice of lemon.

I'm not a fan of dark beers, though I do enjoy the occasional pale ale.

Back in my days of alcoholic haze, I'd drink pretty much any beer, but I usually favored Budweiser. My tastes were not what you would call sophisticated. :p (I did try Guinness once but it was the most disgusting sludge I have ever drank in my life  )

That's heresy.

I think they taste like burnt toast.
I've had many people tell me that stouts don't even taste like beer. Personally, I love them. They are capable of character unlike any other beer. You should try a cherry or chocolate stout sometime. You might change your mind. :)

To be fair, I've never actually tried a stout, though I have had a Black & Blue, which I thought was delicious.
