What's your favorite alien species from Enterprise?

Which alien species?

I voted Tellarites. ENT modernizes them, but we don' t see enough of them. For example, what do female Tellarites look like. LOL Miss Piggy' s return to fame?

To me the Tellarites from ENT look a bit like renaissance merchants. Humans from that time are definitely interesting enough, so I think they could invent an interesting culture for the Tellarites too, no doubt -- Does the novelverse say anything more in-depth about them??

wildsulu, I wondered the same thing myself! I'd love to see some female Tellarites although I'd probably regret saying that once I did. :P

voted Andorians
although they weren't a new species, I voted for them due to how well they updated the look and makeup for them. Being able to do realistic looking moving antennae really helped.

the xindi looked good too, and it was interesting to have them be a group of multiple species all from the same original planet

Actually all we've seen are female Tellarites. ;)

I'm glad Vulcans aren't in this poll as ENT contains my favorite Vulcan ever and my infatuation <--polite word, may have made me tick that little box.
Would that be T'Pol or Soval:). I would guess T'Pol , but when I tend to "guess" I tend to be wrong..:p

Oh, I know...it must be T'Pau....:p

My favorite alien species that at least semi-regularly appeared in ST:ENT would have to be Andorians if only for the spectacular performances of Jeffrey Combs. However when I took the poll, for some reason I had read the question as new alien species - meaning introduced in ENT - and voted Suliban.

I don't think the Andorians would be winning in a run-away if it weren't for Shran. He really made that show at times. I actually began to loath Vulcans and their attitudes toward humans on that show.

Combs made the Andorians win :)

But so did the makeup, it was very cool to see the massive upgrade since Journey to Babel. MOVING antenna!!

It was a toss up but I voted Xindi. I loved the third year arc. If it hadn't been the Xindi, it would have been Andorian. Love the race, love their culture and I would have loved seeing more of it over a few more seasons.

Yep, Shran did it for me. The rest of them... well, they came off as assholes. As did the pre-TOS Vulcans really. That's why I loved The Forge mini-arc so much. It redeemed the Vulcans in my eyes and explained their behavior compared to latter series. Of course in the other series, Vulcans can still come off as condescending and elitist. Still, they were much more haughty in Enterprise, imo.

As for Shran, I had to create this homage to Jeffrey Combs on my Tumblr:

The Andorians. I wish the Klingons had been developed more along those lines instead of always spouting about "honour" and acting like cavemen.

Kor

teacake,
Of course I loved Soval. He was at least consistent. I came to enjoy T'pol too. The rest of them... ehh, I could take 'em or leave 'em.

Kor,
I completely agree. I much prefer when we see different sides of Klingons rather than the same, tired ol' "yay honor, yay war" stereotype.

pre-TOS Vulcans

Soval! Soval! Soval!

Let's here it for Soval!
:techman: I'll give him a standing ovation!
One of my favorite scenes of the series was when Soval told Archer to go to Vulcan and to do whatever it takes to find out who bombed the embassy (and killed Forrest), and that Archer had his support. It was quite an impassioned speech for a Vulcan.

And then he stood up to the corruption of the High Command.
