What's Your Dream Car?

^

LOL... "Dodge... American motorcar... HAHAHAHAHA! (points to Al)"

I love meeting another Married ... with Children fan. :D

A die-hard fan, to be sure! Here's a pic of me beside my current car as proof:

I wish I had kept this car. It was my first car and I still miss it:

As for dream cars, I'll take this one any day:

However, the older I get and the more crazy drivers I see, this may be the best option for me:

It comes fully loaded and completely protected against idiots driving in big city rush hour traffic.:techman: If it can protect the President of the United States, it can protect me!

Not a bad idea. However, in the realm of the more realistic, I've often thought something like this would be ideal for city driving:

Put a blade on the back and you would be pretty much invincible if anyone hit you. You're sitting up higher than just about everyone else, so visibility is fantastic. Acceleration is pretty good up to top speed. Top speed is pretty low, but hey, it's city driving. You don't need high speed. With the four-wheel drive and the loader, you can get out of any traffic jams easily. It's perfect!:techman:

The most expensive, impractical vehicle that I would vote as a "dream" car is an Aston Martin DB9. However, I don't think I would ever actually buy one. Regardless of how much money I might ever have, I don't think I would spend more than $50,000 on a car. Something like an Audi S4 would be more than adequate.

An almond-colored 63 convertible porsche with tan leather interior with a dark chocolate trim and a dark chocolate top. Sounds delicious, and I'd look damn cute behind the wheel.

My dream car is a 1964 Porsche 356c Coupe. I've worked on a few 356s with friends, and loved driving them.

But I think I'd rather have my first car back, 1974 Porsche 914 (which I had for 11 years). I really loved that car, more than any of the other Porsches I owned (1972 911, 1969 911 Targa and a 1972 914... which was really only a parts car).

Well, they say you never really get over your first love. :(

That's a very elegant looking, classic car, if it's the one I think it is, the 356. Not much for Porsche but I can admire some of the designs.

I like the way you think, farmkid!:bolian: But you have to admit, the world's most armored Cadillac ain't a bad way to go either.:rommie:
Beautiful! Old school American iron.

I know this car wasn't really meant to be driven around, but one pot hole or speed bump and you have a seriously messed up body.
^There is nothing like your first car! I still miss this one. Back then I thought newer meant better. Now I know better and am looking for another one for a project car.
I do not live far from Petty's shop, so I had the opportunity to see this one in person. While it has go under the hood, it was made more for show. One good speed bump would trash it.

I know how you feel... my first car was a 1982 Mercedes 240D, and after that I had a 1985 Mercedes 190E... I miss both cars, and I still want to get another Mercedes, hence the 1987 300E being at the top of my "dream car" list.

I still miss my 240... I wish I hadn't sold it.

2011 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS with the RS package. Rally Yellow with Black Rally stripes. So basically like this, but a V8 and with the stripes:

You know we both agree on this. I want one so bad I can taste it. But I would prefer mine in the dark gray.

And if I can't have that then I want this... the Aston Martin Vanquish in this color. Fabulous.

^I do like it in Dark Grey as well, but it's such a common color around here and I don't want the Camaro to be a common car :D

The Vanquish is very nice. Like the DB9 a bit better though.

I think the DBS and the Vantage are the prettiest. Well, the DB5 is even prettier. :D

I have a ton of dream cars, Aston Martin DB5 and DBS, Porsche 356 and GT3 RS, Lamborghini Gallardo, Audi R8 5.2...

I already gave the DBS as my choice, along with the 1988 Esprit.

The DB5 is pretty, but mechanically it's a piece of junk...

I have always been in love with Chevrolet Corvette (C3) models.. most specifically the 1972 year. I think it would be a convertable and white with black interior. :) But, I don't know much about cars and the specifics go right over my head, but I love how they look.
