I would love to have a fully fuctional (I mean general functionality) trans-am decked out like K.I.T.T., but it's illegal to drive (at least in many states) with a working red scanner on the front. Don't recall if it's still illegal when off, or parked.

Realistically though, I recall at least one K.I.T.T. stolen.

Well, I want that particular year AND also the same color as the example in the photo... Light Ivory. Trust me... as soon as I save enough to get one, and find a match, I AM buying it.

When I was 14-15 (1981-82), it was a 1973 Mustang Grande, preferably w/a 429SCJ & Hurst shifter. I know, it's a Ford, I didn't know better.

Now it's something completely unreachable, the Bugatti Veyron, every time I see it on Top Gear.
