What's your birth story?

Cool thanks for that! That cellar definitely looks familiar. I guess one could say most cellars look alike, but even the angle the door is shot from as they come through it looks how I remember it! Hurrah, officially POTS might well be my first Doctor Who :guffaw:

Helluva story for a youngster to have to see. I though shop dummies coming to life was bad..

Do you have an unnaturally severe fear of spiders? I guess its instinctual in most ppl anyway, but some of the scenes in POTS are diabolical.

I'm not even sure if I saw the whole thing, it might just have been a snippet. I do not like spiders however, although I'd never thought of blaming John PErtwee before...

I was born right before episode 1 of Colony in Space in April 1971, I share Colony in Space with David Tennant who was born right after episode 2 in April of 1971. So born during the 3rd doctor but sharing my birthday month and year with the 10th doctor.

my earliest recollection related to Who is my elder sister entering a competition to win Who goodies on Swap Shop, answering a question about how Cybermen were killed.

i also remember oldest sis teasing elder sis about fancying Adric and how gutted elder sis was when Adric died.

Turns out I was born 3 days before the very last episode of Colin Baker's reign. So close.

Terrible time to be born, Who-wise - the earliest I can claim to remember is the TVM, and even that I think I saw as a repeat a few years later.

I was born 2 days before the Jon Pertwee story Curse of the Paledon aired. Day of the Daleks had completed 5 days before my birth, which is 27th January 1972.

Great thread subject Bones.

Oh good heavens. Now I really am feeling a bit William Hartnell-ish. There was no Doctor Who when I was born.

Barely.

I'm surprised there's been no Survivals or TVMs. I seem to be the petulant youngster of the forum.

The first story broadcast after my birth was The Five Doctors, but that's a matter of months, while The King's Demons was broadcast only a week before it.

I'm a Moonbase baby (about a month older than John Barrowman). My sister resents the fact that she was born during Claws of Axos (but accepts that David Tennant, a month later, was even worse off being born during Colony in Space).

The day after The Green Death Part Six.

Not as interesting (or as revelatory) to me as being born during the week George Harrison's "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)" was atop the music charts. Or on a day that Charlie Brown mused upon baseball in Peanuts.

I am close to the King's Daemon's. There were no stories aired on my birthdate so the closest is March 16th for Doctor Who. That's the Fifth Doctor's time.

Geez.
