Wasn't there also a TOS/X-Men crossover? I remember someone once describing a scene where someone asked "Doctor McCoy?" and both Bones and Beast were like "Yes?" For some reason that visual makes me giggle.

OK, I can see Winona now. Off topic, but she has aged well. I always thought she was hot and am glad she dropped her Goth phase.

Yes, that was a comic. This one began as a comic too and this novel was a direct sequel to it.

Sorry, you say "pull off" and we're talking about Winona Ryder & Shannen Doherty, and I just lost all track of the conversation....



I can't see it either. The movie's atmosphere and themes seem very much "of their era" in terms of when it was made. Any remake willl need to translate those into current sensibilities, which will alter it drastically. Might as well just write a new story, I'd have thought. I can't imagine just having the "Heathers" title will be all that much of an added brand draw these days anyway.
