Good point - in spring-time the nearest body of water to me is my backyard.

The Gulf of Mexico
Colorado isn't exactly known for it's bodies of water, but Stanley Lake is pretty close and it's sort of big, for the area. I would LOVE to live near the ocean someday, I always feel very comfortable whenever I can get to a costal city, but alas, my wife is too attached here.
