I just came across this song for the first time on Pandora. I'm kinda shocked that I never noticed it when it came out.

I thought that I should share it with people who are unfamiliar with it, and I invite responses from those who remember it from back in the day.

As a Depeche Mode/New Order/Yaz fan I feel stupid for not being familiar w/ this song.

Oh yeah, I remember hearing this one... back in the late 80's. I never saw the music video, though. Weird one, so very 80's. I was kind of hoping there'd be scenes from TOS, but I guess it would be a copyright infringement... but you think if they got permission to use McCoy's and Spock's voice, why not a few video clips?

Incidentally, Spock saying "pure energy" comes from the episode "Return to Tomorrow." And McCoy's "it's worked so far but we're not out yet" came from "I, Mudd."
