What's in a name?

Since Vulcan doesn't have oceans for ships to sail on, it didn't have any ship names to suggest. :D

Spock: "Fortunately, my ancestors spawned in another ocean than yours did."

Sure, they had an ocean THEN. But that was 250 million years ago!

Y'all are not very good at sticking to a plot. :lol:
Isn't that what we do around here, tear apart bad plots?

One of my high school teachers was fond of saying; "In a country where anyone can protest, someone alway will."

No matter what you name the ship, there going to be someone who won't like it.

The US Navy tend to name ships after politicians who were "friends of the Navy" (or at one time in it), if you benefitted the Navy on budget votes your were a friend.

Ford help the Navy, and really all the armed service, while in congress and as president.
