What's going on over at The Trek Collective?

Not exactly lit related but, many of us go there for the grand Trek-lit reading order list and, while there, get an update on any recent Trek news, including details of upcoming novels, comics, etc.

I can't have helped but notice that, while in the past, there have usually been updates every few days, now the most recent post is from Friday, September 23. I find it hard to believe that there's been that little Trek news in a whole month.

Has anyone heard anything about what may be going on over there? Is everything alright with 8of5?

It's my prime resource on Trek news, including merchandise like literature and models.
I hope 8of5 is alright and just taking an unannounced break from the web.

He and I email back and forth a lot, but the last I heard from him was the beginning of September, when we posted the revised flowchart.

Even news about the comics has been sporadic here lately. There simply isn't that much Trek related news going around these days.

Just to put things in perspective, I checked through TC, and through Sept. and Aug. 8of5 never seemed to go more than three or four days without an update.

I checked 8 of 5's twitter page it hasn't been updated for a long time either. I hope he's okay.

Yeah, I've gone from missing the site being updated to not caring about the site at this point and hoping he's OK.

The updates don't matter at this point, my hope is that he's well. We're a lot of things in this fandom, uncaring isn't one of them.

FWIW there was a post on what I believe (but I'm not 100% sure) is his personal twitter account on October 30th.
