Whatever Happened To Morpheus?

I am a longtime lurker on the TrekBBS, and when Enterprise was in full swing, I recall a poster I think named Morpheus, that would have tons of spoilers and such about upcoming episodes. I fell off the TrekBBS track for a while, and never did hear, once the series ended, if we found out who exactly he/she was in terms of how all that info about the show was at their disposal. Any info?

Before my time so I have no idea, but if s/he was an insider violating non-disclosure agreements, it'd be pretty stupid of them to tell people who they really were. If they did they'd probably never work in TV again.

We never did find out who he was (as someone above said that's probably a good thing for his/her career). They are probably involved in some other TV show by now.

My guess was Manny Coto... Not that it can ever be confirmed.

It wasn't Manny. He didn't join the staff until season 3. Morpheus was posting stuff during season 2.

I always had a hunch who Morpheus was, but no way up until now to confirm it so I won't advance the theory - only that it was a woman, and not one of the producers.

I recall people proclaiming, towards the end, that it was Jolene - seemingly confirmed when Jolene herself was very vocal in the media re her dislike of the then-upcoming final episode.

Wow. What were Morpheus' posts like? Was she really down on the show or just giving away plotlines? I've heard it was a bit of a madhouse here during Enterprise's run.

Well he/she usually gave away plotlines, some juicy spoilers. But for the final episode they blew the lid on spoilers and let rip on how bad the last episode was. Felt like a fan working on the show to me.

I doubt seriously that it was Jolene. Morph posted relatively frequently and during the season. Jolene was working 14 hour days during the season so I just don't see her having the time. But most telling was the fact that if memory serves, Morheus reported attending the wrap party after the final episode was shot -- Jolene didn't attend.

But I do remember one thing that was a bit odd. Jolene was the first cast member to comment on TaTV. She referred to the episode, prior to it's airing, as "appalling", on George Noori's Coast to Coast radio show. Morpheus used that same word to describe the episode in a post here. However, at the time, I recall thinking that Morph was simply echoing Jo's (most appropriate) description of the episode.

My guess is that Morph was one of the producers or script editors or supervisors (but not one of the writing staff), someone who was in a position to know the direction the show was going in before the season started. That wouldn't, I don't think, be something one of the actors or crew would be involved in. Also, I think it was a man (baby!).
