What would you do if you got trapped in the star trek universe

I'll just spend the time replicating nice food and catching up on the literature of the last four centuries.

Still wearing the skirt, I assume.

lol nah, for one I presume they'd make me change out of what, after all constitutes a Starfleet uniform (because I'm civilian and all) and also the skirt uniform from the first season looked a bit too short/tight for a comfy evening of loafing around, eating Andorian codfish and reading historical novels from Alpha Centauri:

No, for that, I'd replicate something like Beverly's snuggie

Let's see... Immediately find Janeway with the intent of becoming friends which then leads to romance. Chatting with the Doctor and attending an opera or two together. Play Kodiscot with Naomi and offer my services as a babysitter to Samantha. Play Velocity with Seven. Running the Captain Proton program with Tom. He could ask me all about the 21st century, seeing as I'd be an expert. We could go out for rides in the Delta Flyer as well. I would spend time studying with Tuvok to familiarize myself with a condensed version of the Starfleet Academy curriculum. I would ask Chakotay to help me find my spirit animal and B'Elanna about Klingon history. In between all of this Janeway and I would be getting to know one another and eventually fall in love.

Get so rich as an object of curiosity to Federation historians ("leave the latinum over there, boys") that I can buy and equip my own "Risa." Call it "Vanna." And maybe I could buy my way into the Ferengi Commerce Authority, at least enough to have a second estate on Ferengenar. I just feel like it would be a kick to live a chunk of every year on Ferengenar.

"It's a small moon - but it's enough to live on"!

Orphalesion, that's hilarious.

What if? Since money no longer exists (yeah, I'm going there, deal with it) I can just lounge around all day without a care in the world.

Me too.

But first, I'd commandeer the Enterprise-D, and fly to DS9, where I'd then commandeer that, and live there, with the Enterprise parked outside for the times I'd want to explore the Alpha Quadrant. Then, I'd use 24th century medicine to cure my cerebral palsy, and various other aliments. Then I'd replicate all the food and drink I can't presently eat due to said aliments, and make up for lost time.

Though after a week of studying Tuvok would most likely say "I am sorry but your lack in understanding all things scientific deem you unfit for Starfleet training." I would end up having to help Neelix in the kitchen but that wouldn't go over so well either, because I can't cook.

As long as you can brew coffee, I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble getting into KJ's pants. I think once you got that going for you, it'll be difficult for anyone to find a good reason to put you off the ship.

Happy Kathy = Happy crew.

I CAN make coffee, and toast and eggs! Oh, I could organize stuff too. The ship would never be in disarray with me around:)

^ Well if you can make coffee and organize things, maybe you can talk Janeway into re-introducing the rank of Yeoman from TOS (ince they seemed to be pretty much secretaries/personal aides to the captain) and make you acting Yeoman!

You'd get to stand next to Janeway on the bridge and make her coffee whenever she asks.

I can't do that exactly because Naomi is the captain's assistant. Besides, I wouldn't want to be at her beck and call. Me doing everything for her wouldn't be an equal partnership.

You can't have an equal partnership with 'The Captain'...that's why she's 'The Captain'. She's the boss.

I would become a Teacher of Early Earth History and quietly get the Mother of All Holodictions. I would make earnest and regular pilgrimages to Riza. To fund my life, I would also start whatever a radio station would be called then, and re-introduce some SERIOUS Oldies to the Young'uns who are, no doubt, starved for some real music.

Dark Side of the Moon, indeed

Your Great x 20 Grandfather really liked this stuff...
