What would this be worth?

Hi,

I have come into a collection of Star Trek DVD's and Magazines and am after some opinions on what they would be worth.

I am looking at selling them, but not sure as to sell them as a whole, or individually, as i have no idea if they would be worth more as a whole and whether anyone would buy them.

This is what i have:

• The Next Generation - Episode 1 - 176
• Deep Space 9 - Season 1 - 7
• Enterprise - Season 1 - 4
• Films 1 - 10
• 2 Disc Special Edition
• Collectors Edition Magazines - 1-70

The Next Generation are just individual DVDs and have not been purchased in Seasoned Sets.

Deep Space 9 is in boxed seasons

Enterprise is in some sort of collectors edition box

The magazines are in 3 star trek folders

I would say as long as the actors are still alive the magazines are almost worthless. If they are special editions or the like, they might be worth something. Old Trek is worth more than TNG and beyond. If the other actors win some award or die then your other CDs might be worth something. Otherwise, I wouldn't expect them to be worth much more than you got them for. Go to a Trek convention and you might get more.

And in the world of resale, the condition of the boxes themselves can be more important than what they contain.

They are worth precisely what someone is willing to pay you for them. There's no real extreme value there - I'd say sell it as individually as you can to maximize your profit. People tend to pay less or want to pay less for bulk purchases.

Your best bet would be to check on sites such as Ebay, etc. We don't advertise auctions or sales for individual posters here. Good luck!
